About Adaugo
Hi! My name is Adaugo, and I’m a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with a passion for helping high school students succeed in Math and Chemistry.
I remember how confusing these subjects can feel when they’re taught too fast or without clear explanations. That’s why I focus on breaking concepts down into simple, logical steps so you actually understand what you’re doing not just memorize formulas.
In my sessions, I create a comfortable, no-judgment space where students feel free to ask questions. Whether you need help with homework, test preparation, or understanding a tough topic, I’ll guide you through it at your pace until it makes sense.
My goal is not just to help you get better grades, but to help you feel confident in Math and Chemistry. With the right support, these subjects don’t have to be scary and I’m here to help you prove that.

I am an IB certificate student who excels in math and chemistry, mainly with an average of 92. I tutor in and outside of school and people like tutor always come back with good results. I love helping and I hope I could be a good help to you. My lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to help students build a strong foundation in Math and Chemistry. I focus on making sure students truly understand the material instead of just memorizing steps. Each lesson includes:
A review of key concepts, Guided problem-solving ,Practice with real exam-style questions and help with homework, quizzes, and test preparation. I adapt my teaching to each student’s learning style and pace, creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions. Lessons are held online through Zoom or Google Meet, making it easy and flexible for busy families. My goal is to help students improve their grades while also building confidence and independence in their learning beacuse I know how it feels when struggling academically and I would want to make sure no one feels like that.
