About Kristopher
My name is Kristopher, and I am a 2025 graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Biology. I will be entering dental school next year. During my time at UVA, I served as a mentor for pre-health students and gained extensive experience supporting peers through challenging science coursework.
I have had multiple opportunities to tutor students in biology and math and have completed all required pre-health and dental school prerequisites. I have also taken the Dental Admission Test (DAT), giving me a strong understanding of both the subject matter and the way these topics are tested.
I am familiar with the expectations, pacing, and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in science courses and standardized exams. My goal is to provide structured, professional, and reliable support that helps students build confidence and perform at a higher level.

As both a classroom teacher and a strong STEM student, I understand curriculum expectations and how students are evaluated. I emphasize clarity, confidence, and consistency so students feel prepared and capable.
I begin by identifying where a student is struggling and tailor my explanations to their learning style. I break down complex topics into clear, step-by-step concepts and reinforce learning through guided practice and active questioning.
Each lesson starts with a brief review and goal-setting, followed by focused instruction on new or challenging topics. We then work through practice problems or examples together, ending with a recap of key points and next steps to ensure steady progress.

My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students in biology and math, as well as students in introductory college-level biology who want to strengthen their foundation and improve performance.
