About Tomoki
Hello! I’m Tomoki from Japan. I graduated from the University of Tokyo after entering through the Science II program and later majoring in Law.
I have over three years of experience teaching mathematics and science at one of the largest tutoring schools in Japan. During that time, I helped students gain admission to competitive high schools, including Yokohama Suihran High School and Tokyo Gakugei University Senior High School. I was promoted to the highest level in my company’s 10-tier tutor evaluation system based on my teaching performance and student feedback.
I will be living in Toronto from September 2026 and look forward to supporting Japanese students and families living in Canada. I enjoy helping students build confidence through logical thinking and clear explanations, and I always strive to create a comfortable learning environment.

Hello! My name is Tomoki, and I graduated from the University of Tokyo after entering through the Science II program. I have over three years of experience teaching mathematics and science at one of the largest tutoring schools in Japan.
I mainly teach elementary and middle school students in Japanese. My lessons are suitable for students who need help with schoolwork, regular tests, high school entrance exams, or preparing to return to Japan.
Rather than simply giving answers, I focus on helping students understand why a solution works. I believe that building logical thinking and strong fundamentals leads to lasting improvement and confidence.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s current level, goals, and learning style. I also provide study plans and advice to help students make steady progress.
Face-to-face lessons will be available in the Toronto area from mid-September 2026. Feel free to contact me for a free consultation!
