As an educator, I’ve guided multiple students through not only the Texas region band process, but also the UIL solo and ensemble process. I’ve had multiple students advance to the state UIL solo and ensemble contest, with great success there.

I have a bachelor’s degree in music education with a concentration in percussion playing. I’ve been playing for about 20 years and have been teaching percussion for 10 years. 4 years as a supplemental staff member while I was getting my degree, and 6 years as a full time band director.
