About Pinaak
I’m a first-year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at the University of Surrey with a strong interest in maths, problem-solving and technology.
I enjoy helping people understand topics that initially seem difficult, especially by breaking them down into smaller, manageable steps. I want to tutor because I know how much difference a clear explanation and a bit of extra individual attention can make when preparing for exams or trying to build confidence in a subject.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I aim to make lessons comfortable enough that students feel confident asking questions and admitting when something doesn’t make sense.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, confidence and goals. My approach is to explain concepts clearly, work through examples step by step, and then give the student the chance to solve similar problems independently so I can identify any gaps in understanding.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can include topic revision, worked examples, exam-style questions, homework support and preparation for upcoming tests.
I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Surrey, so I use maths and problem-solving regularly in my degree.
My lessons are aimed mainly at KS3 and GCSE Maths students, as well as Further Maths. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while improving steadily.
