About Navdha
I am a dedicated university student with a strong academic background and five years of experience tutoring GCSE and A level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I discovered my passion for teaching early on and I genuinely enjoy breaking down difficult topics and helping students grow in confidence. I always aim to do the absolute best for my students, and I value keeping parents informed, comfortable and engaged throughout the process if they wish to be involved. As someone who understands the pressures of studying and exams, I create lessons that are clear, supportive and relatable, and I am committed to helping every student feel motivated, prepared and capable of achieving their goals.

I take a personalised and supportive approach to tutoring, focusing on helping each student build confidence and truly understand the subjects they study. I begin by identifying their strengths and areas that need improvement, then break challenging topics into simple and manageable steps. My lessons use active learning, clear explanations, and real exam questions so students can see how concepts apply in practice. I encourage students to think aloud so I can understand how they approach problems and guide them towards stronger reasoning. My teaching combines worked examples, interactive questioning, and regular recall activities to strengthen long-term understanding. Lessons typically last sixty minutes, which gives us enough time to learn new content, practise exam questions, and review progress. I also offer thirty or ninety minute sessions when students need shorter or extended support, especially during exam periods or when focusing on specific topics. I am a university student with five years of tutoring experience in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I work with GCSE and A level students who want to improve their understanding, raise their grades, or prepare for upcoming exams. I tailor my approach to each student’s ability, goals, and preferred learning style.
