About Thesadi
Hi! I’m a university student and recent high school graduate, and I know exactly what it’s like to feel stressed, confused, or overwhelmed by schoolwork — especially with NCEA. That’s one of the biggest reasons I decided to become a tutor. I’ve been in your shoes not long ago, so I understand the pressure of assessments, exams, and balancing everything at once. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand things they once found difficult. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student go from feeling unsure to feeling confident and proud of their progress. I believe everyone is capable of succeeding with the right support, patience, and encouragement.

I am a recent high school graduate and current university student, with strong academic results across Maths (General & Calculus), Chemistry, Biology, English, and Health Science at NCEA Levels 1–3.
I use a mix of:
- Clear step-by-step explanations
- Worked examples
- Practice questions
- Past NCEA-style questions
I also regularly check for understanding, encourage questions, and provide feedback so students know exactly how to improve.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, which allows enough time for:
- Reviewing previous work
- Teaching new content
- Practising questions
- Clarifying any difficulties
Longer sessions can be arranged if needed, especially before tests and exams.
