About Hammam
My number motto is preparation. I will always prepare for lessons in advance by having practice problems, videos, and illustrations ready to go. All students will receive maximum effort on my behalf in terms of preparation and reteaching concepts, and I will make sure students have their concerns and questions answered before the end of each session.

My sessions are all about facilitating learning by finding gaps in basic knowledge that are often glossed over but give students a headache in more advanced courses. Typically, I'll ask students what topic they're having difficulty with as well as what related topics they've struggled with in the past. I'll then try to fill in those gaps with teaching methods that suit the student best, and hammer in those concepts with practice questions if applicable. I usually also give students a wide net of resources that have been useful for me in the past. Although I specialize in high school and college level chemistry and biology, I can also tutor math up to algebra 2.
