About Kornelia
Hi! I’m Kornelia — a university student currently studying Marketing and Psychology in California, with a deep passion for languages and communication. I grew up speaking German as my second language, starting in a bilingual kindergarten, and later lived in Switzerland for over a decade, where I immersed myself fully in the language and culture. I’m fluent in five languages and love sharing what I’ve learned in a way that feels personal, supportive, and encouraging. As someone who understands what it’s like to learn multiple languages, I bring patience, empathy, and clarity to every lesson. My goal is to help you feel confident and comfortable using German in real-life situations — whether you’re starting from scratch or brushing up your skills. I truly believe that anyone can learn a language with the right support and mindset. Looking forward to helping you grow on your language journey!

As a fluent German speaker with a multicultural background, I tailor each lesson to meet the unique needs and goals of my students. My approach is conversational, friendly, and student-centered — I believe language is best learned through real-life situations, engaging topics, and consistent practice.
A typical lesson with me combines:
• Practical conversation practice
• Vocabulary building based on your interests
• Simple grammar explanations (when needed)
• Cultural insights to bring the language to life
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a traveler wanting basic fluency, or a student seeking extra support, I’ll adapt to your pace and style. My goal is to create a relaxed space where you feel confident speaking and making mistakes — because that’s how we grow!
What sets me apart is my international experience, my love for languages (I speak five!), and my ability to explain things in a way that makes them easy to understand — no pressure, no overwhelm, just steady progress.
