About Joanna
I am a current student majoring in Creative Writing at Concordia University in Montreal, QC. My love for writing began when I was young through my obsession of fiction. In my later years, I attended an Arts High School called Canterbury in Ottawa, ON. Here, I specialized in Dramatic Theatre and developed a specific love for plays and playwriting.
In my free time I enjoy reading fiction from all genres, memoirs and plays. I also enjoy writing in many styles from poetry, prose, to playwriting.
But it's not all creative, I currently work as a Copy Writer for a media company with 2+ years experience in professional ad writing. I also have a knack for essay writing and essay structure that comes from my years in advanced english classes.

With over 4 years of experience working with children in theatre, I am friendly, patient, and skilled at creating a positive, motivational environment. My lessons are for any child looking to improve in their english classes. My goal is to meet the student where they are at. Whether it be grammar, essay writing, creative writing projects, or anything under the english umbrella, my goal is to inspire young learners to reach their full potential and develop their skills for english.
