About Madison
I am a first year student studying English at SFU. I have previous experience working with peers in my high school's Writing Centre, in which students between the ages 13-18 came to me with an assortment of assignment types. I can help with revision, writing/editing, proofreading, brainstorming, grammar comprehension, and spelling. My ultimate goal is for students to avoid dreading their English studies, and to instead find interest and a sense of accomplishment in gaining an understanding of the language.

I value quality over swiftness, the goal in every lesson is for students to leave having gained a better understanding of the English language and whatever it may be that they need additional assistance in. My hope is that my students will feel welcomed in the learning environment that I provide, and that there will be an understanding that shame has no place in educational settings. I cater toward students between the grades K-10, lesson plans will vary depending on individual student needs.
