I am a Biochemist graduate with a degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology (MSc) from the University of Sheffield. I have experience with tutoring high school students up to the age of 18. I also have an A level in Mathematics (A*) so can provide mathematics tuition.

My teaching method is initially a short lecture and then discussive. I will ask the student to provide a topic with which they are struggling with or a concept that requires clarification before the class. I will then prepare a concise presentation of what i believe to be the main learning objectives and concepts. The student will then be able to quiz me on the finer points of the lesson and anything that requires further explanation. Finally, I will provide the student with a short quiz to ensure they have grasped the lesson and to reinforce their understanding. I am willing to adapt my teaching methods to suit the student and utilise methods which they find helpful.
