About Eleonora
I am a university professor with a PhD from a UK university and several years of experience in academic research and teaching. I currently teach at an American university, where my courses include Research Methods, Cognitive Psychology, Affective Neuroscience, and Psychobiology. I have also supervised Bachelor’s and Master’s theses and supported students at different stages of their academic journey. I enjoy teaching because I find it very rewarding to help students gain confidence, make sense of difficult concepts, and develop their own way of thinking critically about research. I know that subjects such as research methods and neuroscience can sometimes feel overwhelming, so my goal is to make them clear, approachable, and engaging, while adapting my teaching to each student’s needs and goals.

My teaching approach is supportive, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and academic goals. I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than simply providing answers, using clear explanations, practical examples, guided discussion, and critical analysis of research. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged when working on research projects or more complex topics. I am a university professor with a PhD obtained in the UK and several years of academic research experience. Since 2018, I have taught Research Methods, Cognitive Psychology, Affective Neuroscience, and Psychobiology at university level, and I have supervised both Bachelor’s and Master’s theses. My lessons are particularly suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Psychology, Neuroscience, and related disciplines, including students who need support with research methods, understanding scientific papers, developing research projects, or strengthening their knowledge of specific areas of psychology and neuroscience.
