About Shobhit Kumar
I'm currently pursuing my Master of Management (Finance) degree at the University of Melbourne, driven by a deep passion for finance and economics. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's in Commerce, followed by valuable experience working for one of the world's top-three hedge funds. Transitioning to management consultancy further enriched my understanding of financial dynamics.
To deepen my professional expertise, I undertook the CFA Level 1 examination. However, beyond certifications, my love for finance and economics extends to a voracious appetite for reading and exploring new concepts.
My enthusiasm lies not only in absorbing knowledge but also in sharing it. I'm dedicated to teaching these concepts in a manner that's not only academically robust but also accessible and enjoyable. Through a focus on practical application, I aim to make learning both fun and enlightening for my students.

Finanace can be a difficult subject especially without prior knowledge. Shobhit helped me understand finance, starting from the very basics of it to the more difficult concepts that were being taught in class and was extremely patient with my slow but steady progress. I am grateful that I could get help from an excellent teacher as him. I would definitely recommend him if one is having trouble understanding finance. His teaching style is really great and helps understand the harder concepts very easily.
