About Sean
I enjoy teaching because it is rewarding to help students build confidence and see mathematics become clearer to them. I have been tutoring for three years, and I especially enjoy finding simple ways to explain difficult concepts. Seeing my students improve, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching.

I take a patient and supportive approach, adapting each lesson to the student’s individual needs and learning style. Using an online whiteboard, I explain mathematical concepts step by step, work through examples, and encourage students to solve problems independently with guidance.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can focus on understanding difficult topics, completing homework, revising for exams, or practising exam-style questions. As a university maths student, I have a strong understanding of mathematics and can explain challenging ideas in a clear and approachable way.
My lessons are suitable for secondary-school students, including Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate learners of all ability levels.
