About Deinma
Outside of tutoring, I love swimming, exploring new places, and meeting new people from different backgrounds. I enjoy learning from every experience and using that insight to grow personally and help others. I’m passionate about problem-solving, creating supportive communities, and inspiring the next generation to be curious, resilient, and confident in their abilities. I believe in leading by example, encouraging others to embrace challenges, stay motivated, and reach their full potential both in and out of the classroom.

I love helping students understand and enjoy Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. My goal is to make learning clear and engaging, so that concepts really click rather than just being memorised. I focus on building confidence and problem-solving skills that will last well beyond exams. In my lessons, I break down tricky topics into simple, easy-to-follow steps. I like to use real-life examples and practical problems to make things relatable, and I always make sure students have plenty of chances to practise and ask questions. I adapt my approach to each student’s learning style and pace, so lessons feel tailored just for them. Lessons usually last around 60 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust to 45 or 90 minutes depending on what works best. I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Leeds, and I’m now pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Energy at the University of Nottingham. I have experience tutoring students in Years 9–11, helping them improve both understanding and exam performance. These lessons are perfect for students who want to feel more confident in Maths, Physics, or Chemistry, strengthen their knowledge, and get ready for their exams with support that’s patient, structured, and personalised.
