About Rafferty
I want to tutor A level politics to enhance my own debating skills and teaching skills, whilst also improving on my speech delivery. This is essential to me as an aspiring lawyer with key interests in the business sphere. Whilst I am looking to teach the course, I will also aim to enhance your debating skills (which may be used in your politics essays and exam skills in other subjects). I may be younger compared to other tutors, but I am able to relate to students and guide their skills through the best possible way.

Great technique is to learn the basics, i.e. set out the groundwork. Progress to conversing and debating on real world political issues and topics to enhance key essay skills. Length of a lesson can typically be an hour, but flexible on timing. I have an A in A level politics, A in economics and a B in geography. Lessons aimed for A level students starting out, but also second year students at sixth form. Starting out, we would test your knowledge of the subject to give me an idea of the level you are at. From this point, I will enhance your knowledge of the subject, whilst also advising you to read around the subject to really advance your knowledge of A level politics. In my opinion, to be able to achieve the best grade, you need to perfect examination skills by allowing arguments to be smoothly implemented in your response to an exam question.
