About Lucas
I am a former professional skier who transitioned into full-time coaching and athlete development. Over the past nine years, I have worked year-round with competitive athletes, including skiers who have gone on to compete at the Olympic level. Coaching at that level has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, stay patient under pressure, and help individuals perform with confidence.
My background in sports management and high-performance coaching has taught me how to break complex skills into simple, repeatable steps. Whether in sport or academics, I focus on structure, accountability, and building long-term confidence.

I focus on helping students truly understand math rather than just memorize steps. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach based on their strengths and where they feel stuck. A typical lesson starts with reviewing problem areas, breaking concepts down into simple steps, and practicing together until it feels clear and manageable.
With nine years of coaching experience, I’m patient, structured, and encouraging. I work well with middle and high school students who need confidence, organization, and steady guidance. My goal is to make math feel less overwhelming and help students build skills they can use independently.
