About Gabriel

Finance can feel overwhelming when formulae are presented without clear explanations. I help you understand what the numbers mean, why a method works and how to apply it with confidence.

I hold an MPhil in Finance and a PhD in Economics, with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience. My teaching includes financial management, financial derivatives, project finance, business finance and financial analysis. I have also authored two published finance study guides covering derivatives and risk management, and the macroeconomic environment, risk and regulation of financial services.

You will receive patient explanations, practical examples and constructive feedback tailored to your level. My aim is to help you build lasting understanding and the confidence to approach finance problems independently.

I offer personalised online finance lessons for foundation, undergraduate, master’s and MBA students, as well as adult learners. Whether you are struggling with a module or preparing for an exam, we focus on the topics and skills you need most.
