About Sebastian
I am a recent graduate, having just finished a Master's course in Particle & Nuclear Physics at the University of Edinburgh.
I have been tutoring on and off over the last 3 years. I helped a family friend achieve an A at GCSE. Throughout university I was often approached by peers for help on their problems, I developed a succinct way of explaining new methods to them.

I believe maths and physics are subjects best learnt through practise. I'm always happy to show how to solve a problem and carefully explain the method. However, ultimately the most learning occurs when a student solves a problem for themselves. I prefer to demonstrate a few problems before passing them on, only prompting a student when I see it is necessary, working with them to adapt the method to suit them.
I tend to teach for 1hr online via zoom with an iPad on screenshare so we can work through problems together. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-level.
