About Saman
I have been tutoring for 7 years and absolutely love watching my students blossom. I am from Los Angeles and graduated from high school as valedictorian with a 4.6 GPA. I then attended the University of California, Berkeley and have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. I am excited to be back home in Los Angeles and assist students with all educational needs, ranging from math and English tutoring to college prep and essay review. I hope to work together and help your student grow!

I specialize in working with children between the ages of 7 and 16. Before each lesson, I like to speak with the student's guardian to understand what exactly their student needs help with so I can best address their needs and meet your family's goals. For example, a guardian may share with me that they would like their student to work on adding fractions with unlike denominators. I then put together a set of worksheets for your student to work on with me. The student will try the first problem on their own so I can gauge their skill level in that particular operation. Based on that, I will walk the student through the next couple problems before having the student solve another problem on their own. Before you know it, your student will be able to ace an entire worksheet all on their own!
