About Kristine
Hello! My name is Kristine and I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia. I have a BA in English Literature and I have a strong passion for books and writing.
As a university student, I wrote for the school paper and have written many successful project grant applications. I have my own website where I write about everything to do with fermented beverages and distilling.

I teach beginner English classes for those just learning English, and advanced writers who need help with essay, resume, and cover letter writing.
Everyone has a different learning style and I want to set my students up for success. My teaching methods vary according to my students. My first class is about identifying students' weaknesses. From there I apply a teaching method which integrates listening, writing, oral, and grammar.
Each lesson begins with an overview of students' homework assignments and how they can improve their writing and reading skills. Reading and comprehension passages may be given out during lessons to assess students' progression.
