About Marco
Born and raised in London, I have been teaching English for 7 years since leaving the capital. I had a short stint in Asia teaching English before coming to Berlin in 2018. I have worked in several language schools in this vibrant city and met countless people with their own unique language needs. Growing up bilingual has helped me understand the difficulties my students have when learning a new language. The expressions and idioms differ greatly between some languages and have similarities in others. This fascination between cultures really inspired me to pursue a career in this field. Besides teaching, my other passion is sport. When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me somewhere in Berlin trying to achieve a sporting feat beyond my capabilities. Whether it's football, bouldering or running, I'm always up for a good workout.

Perfect! Great introduction for first lesson.
Perfect! Marco is proactive in planning lessons and ensures that each session is engaging and meaningful. He pays close attention to Kenji’s learning needs and adapts his teaching style accordingly.
