About Adam
I love Maths - it really is beautiful. I love the moment when everything just clicks, those ‘oooohhhhh’ moments. I want to cultivate those moments with my students as much as I possibly can. I know that for many of you, Maths may be one of those things that ‘just doesn’t make sense’. I think that’s really because of the way it’s taught.
I love space too - I’m a massive nerd. That’s why I studied Physics with Astronomy at university and learnt all about the universe. I only want to learn interesting things, and I only want to teach you interesting things. That’s why I stick to Maths and Physics, and ignore Biochem.

I’m not a teacher, I’m a guide. I know the way the teachers explain it is rigid and boring - I thought so too! I like to explain concepts in ways you haven’t considered before, and to think outside the box. I teach Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-Level, specialising in those students who are enthusiastic about learning, but just haven’t had the right teaching experience yet.
I have a Masters’ degree in Physics and Astronomy, and have tutored whilst at sixth form and university. I’m now an IT Manager at a famous manufacturing company.
