About Raphael Ifiok
I am a student of engineering at the University of Lagos, who has taught math and sciences for over 8 years, to students in classes between nursery and university aspirants, in both formal (school), semiformal (tutorial) and informal (private lessons). I have had a record in places where I have worked, such that, when I am on holiday, my former bosses call me back to work for them.

As a Maths and science tutor for over 8 years, that has taught from Nursery class to University aspirants, I have seen that
1. If I introduce new topics as something that is easier than what they already know, my students, easily catch up
2. If I teach the students multiple methods, I gain their trust, then I emphasize the method, I want them to use often, to make it easier for them to move quickly.
3. I have also noticed that students learn new topics faster when they are linked with topics they are already familiar with
4. When I teach my students for too long, they get tired, which makes it easy for them not to remember all that has been taught
5. Also, when I teach them without reaching a reasonable level, they feel it's not important, and forget. So, spending a too long or too short time, isn't what works
