About Shivani
I am a first-year medical student at Imperial. I strongly believe that no one is bad at Maths and Science, they simply aren't looking at it from the right angle. Since I have recently completed my A-levels, I have many resources available to me that I can use in order to plan lessons suited towards my student. I have a Peer Mentoring Qualification and am a mentor for 3 students within my school. As a result, I have prior experience with tutoring other students; therefore, I am able to ensure my student is comfortable in their learning environment so they can remain motivated and work to the best of their abilities. I plan to work out which areas my student would like to go over in order to strategically work through it in a way that my student will understand. For example, I will be able to use my own experiences to teach certain topics in a way that schools don't, to ensure the content makes sense.
