About Dhananjai
Hello! I'm Dhananjai and in my final year as an Economics student at JMI, Delhi. I'm from Uttarakhand and I had come to Delhi for higher studies. I have been intrigued and amazed by music for as long as I can remember, with guitar being a very important part of my life. I have always believed that knowledge grows within self when it is shared. I have taught guitar to many students and friends who now are on their own guitar journey, playing live and making music which makes me feel very accomplished. While learning anything, not just primarily guitar, all there is needed is dedication towards your goals and sparing a little time consistently to practice. I assure you there is no such thing as a "born talented and gifted" person, it's just a person who is passionate and dedicated towards whatever art they pursue. I picked up guitar for the first time after listening to Zeppelin, all because I was infatuated with playing like that. In time I found out it's not really that simple, not really that hard either. Being a self-taught player, I often think to myself how much better I would have become by now if instead of searching my way through random videos and e-books I had a teacher who would tell me what I needed to know. Definitely, I would have been so much better in a much shorter duration. But in the process of learning the way I did, I found certain ways around the fretboard and music in general that broadened my mind in every way, not just musically. I wish to convey the same knowledge to people dedicated to learning music and guitar. I believe with the right teachings of technique and a little theory, anyone can learn to play any musical piece they'd want to and more so make their own music.
