About Tally
At school I achieved an A* in Religious Studies at GCSE and an A at A Level, I also received a 2:1 on completing the first year of my BA Theology and Religion (Hons) undergraduate course at Durham University (ranked fifth in the QS World University Subject Rankings 2022).
Theology is a course I genuinely love and enjoy putting time into. My education has equipped me with the skills needed to tutor RS and Philosophy to a high standard, whilst my passion for the subject means I will always be enthusiastic and ready for any question!

About the lesson

Lessons cover Religious Studies and Philosophy for GCSE, 13+ and 11+. Lesson length is 1 hour or 1 hour 30, depending on the student's need, and will be confirmed upon booking.
Lessons will go through any questions/ topics the student feels they are stuck on or find tricky. I use a student-centric approach, always encouraging and guiding the student to find the answer themselves. I encourage visual and tactile learning to enhance understanding and always practice active listening (something teachers often miss).
Lessons may also work through the syllabus in general and go back over anything covered in class. I specialise in revision techniques and consolidation, finding the best way for the student to learn with techniques that may not have been suggested in school.
