About Florence
Hi! My name's Flo and I am an undergraduate studying Physics and Astrophysics. Coming from an all-girls school, I've always been very passionate about teaching physics as I have seen how commonly it has been perceived as an impossible subject, when in reality it really isn't all that bad! I am a friendly, understanding character who will remain professional under all circumstances whilst creating a safe space free of judgement for you to learn in.

I strongly believe that the best way to improve your knowledge in a subject is through practice. There's only a certain number of ways an exam can ask you the same question! Once you learn to recognise these questions, it's just about applying what you already know! My teaching methods revolve around exams, we will study papers to identify your strong and weak points; we will then focus on those weaknesses until, they too, become strengths. Typically, a session with me would last an hour and I may suggest some extra work to do in your free time if you wish to maximise your potential. I have A-Levels and GCSEs in both maths and physics and am currently studying Physics and Astrophysics at university. I have experience in tutoring, having done it for free many times before. I volunteered to teach younger years in my secondary school, mentored students who needed an extra push and have helped people my own age to pass GCSEs they really struggled with. My lessons are aimed at people studying GCSEs who need that little bit of extra help to truly reach their full potential.
