About Leigh Ann
I have been unofficially tutoring students (particularly in regards to mathematics) since I was in high school myself. I have worked with a range of different individuals from varying ages and knowledge bases. Some are just beginning to learn the rules of arithmetic, some only need a gentle nudge in the right direction. Every student is unique with their own learning styles, therefore my approach varies from student to student. I am a very patient person, and will work with each student until they feel confident in their abilities.

As a tutor and educator, I do not make assumptions about the material that has been taught in the past. I am happy to begin at whatever level the student feels confident with, whether they are a young student just beginning their educational journey or an adult who didn't get the proper instruction in school.
My goal is to make sure that the student is confident in their abilities and know the correct process to arrive at an answer, so students will never receive any judgment from me, nor will I ever treat them in a condescending manner. If my explanation does not get the point across, I will work to find a different method that works for the student because everyone learns differently.

Perfect! My son and I have really enjoyed having Leigh Ann as a tutor. She is very patient , and supportive . My child feels very comfortable with her and they work well together ! Thank you .
Perfect! Leigh Ann understands that not everyone learns the same way. In my opinion that makes her an excellent educator. She is well prepared and has a syllabus for my daughter to follow. I think Leigh Ann will be a wonderful asset in helping further my daughter's education.
