About Maya
My interests range across a variety of topics, not only do I love helping others but also I am a huge sport, notably football enthusiast. I find that when teaching it is nice to have a normal chat with students before and after the lesson to help develop a strong relationship which is key for learning, whilst also showing the student I really care about their wellbeing. No matter the level of student I take my time to break things down and explain carefully, reassuring them if they have any queries.

My name is Maya and I'm 18 years old! Having tutored for the past 2 years as well as partaking in my school's academic mentoring scheme, I have learned how to teach children of all abilities in a way to make sure they completely understand the content and feel welcome to ask any questions. I am able to tutor all sciences, maths and history at GCSE level and maths, chemistry and history (all which I took for A level) at A level study. The usual length of my lessons are 1 hour at which I charge £30. and will mostly be completed online as I look to attend university this September. In the past 4 years I have: - Received all grade 9's at GCSE level - Received 2 A*'s and 1 A at A level study
