About Meltem
I am currently an undergraduate Politics and Economics student at the University of York and am passionate about Maths and looking to help inspire and engage others in this subject. I believe every individual is unique and may learn in different ways which is why I find it most effective to focus my attention on lesson plans and incorporating various learning techniques to unlock students’ potential.
I have previously supported both GCSE Math students in group environments as well as providing 1-1 support for student during after- school sessions.

Providing 1-1 online tutoring with 1 hour sessions that tailor support to best suit different learning requirements and needs.
I begin by helping students to identify learning and revision techniques that work best for them to aid individual studies and ensure I can provide support in the best way during our sessions. We will cover reasoning behind topics and work through examples together to secure understanding. We will then do application through breaking down and working through exam-style questions.
