About Victoria
My name is Victoria and I am a second year student reading English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford. I secured 9s in both English Language and Literature at GCSE and an A in English Literature at A-Level so not only do I have a firm grasp of the subject matter of these exams but moreover I remember what it is like to have to sit these exams and can help you create a tailored revision approach which works for you and feels a little less daunting. I have tutored two students for English Literature A-Level previously who both achieved two grades above their predicted following my tutoring.

Having recently studied English at both GCSE and A-Level I am well aware of how daunting the scope of the subject matter is and as such I believe that a student-led approach is crucial for identifying blind spots in your knowledge and ensuring a coherent understanding across the curriculum. Excelling in English at a secondary-school level is all about understanding the building blocks required to meet the criteria of the mark scheme, therefore I employ a strategic approach, breaking the subject matter down into the different assessment objectives and thus making revision a much more manageable task.
