About Isra
I am an aspiring undergraduate Astrophysics student, working towards a career in academia as an astrophysicist. By going through different levels of physics in my education, I understand how daunting the subject can be! These tutoring sessions are designed to build a strong conceptual foundation, reinforce classroom learning, and prepare students for their exams with confidence.
I have many passions alongside my studies, including language-learning, fine arts, and a black-belt in Choi Kwang Do. From my martial arts training, I qualified as an assistant instructor, supporting the head instructors in classes, and even running classes on my own. With 2 years of teaching experience, I quickly became confident in teaching people of all ages, as well as sharing my knowledge and expertise with fellow students. I believe this provides me with a well-rounded perspective that I can bring into the tutoring sessions.

I aim to teach Physics and Maths for GCSE students. The lessons will be an hour long, where the main focus will be on mastering exam techniques and reviewing content taught in school. The first half an hour or so will be revising the content, and in the second half hour, we will solidify knowledge by answering exam questions. Some lessons can be based on personal requests from students.
I tutor GCSE students from my previous secondary school during the school holidays, leading up to their mock and final exams. We work through exam papers and target areas of weakness.
