About Alexander
I have been a tutor in the UK and in Czech Republic for 4 years, tutoring over 10 students at varying levels. I have tutored at GCSE and IB level in which my students have achieved, on average, 2 incremental grade scores higher than before I began working with them. I have even, and especially, tutored students who have been problematic in classrooms, encouraging them to engage more in their classes.

Experienced tutor that adjusts methods based on student’s responsiveness. Preferred method of teaching is providing explanation and understanding of the topic to the student, working with them through several practice problems and then testing student on their understanding based on application. Prompting questions used if the student struggles, instead of giving them the answer.
