About Jack
I have loved mathematics since I was very young. Having come through the state school system, I am very aware of the pitfalls of traditional schooling in mathematics. I have tested alternative approaches and I want to impart that knowledge onto others, and garner more teaching experience such that during my PhD years at Cambridge I can be a more effective supervisor.

I like to focus my lessons around problems and hands-on experience with the content at the earliest opportunity. In my 4 years of tutoring experience, this has proved to be the most effective way to succeed in exams, answering questions is as specific to exams as you can get of course. Lessons can be tailored to all ages and levels up to university, and lessons will typically be an hour in length and online, as this is the most effective way to collaborate on a mathematics lesson.
