About Ashreya
I’m an aspiring lawyer with a strong academic background, but I also have a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential. I have been tutoring professionally for over two years, both in person and online, across a range of subjects including English, Legal Studies, and Business Studies. I love tailoring lessons to each student’s needs, supporting them to build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve top results. I am an experienced tutor from Australia, where I completed the Higher School Certificate with an ATAR of 95.35 (AAA at A level equivalent), placing me in the top 5% of students nationally. In English, I achieved 90/100 in Advanced English (A/A equivalent)* and *45/50 in Extension 1 English (A standard, beyond the A level curriculum)**. I have over two years of tutoring experience, both in person and online. At North Shore Coaching College in Sydney, I taught English to classes from Kindergarten to Year 7. Privately, I have tutored students in Years 8–12 across English, Legal Studies, and Business Studies, with lessons delivered via Zoom to both Australian and UK students. On average, I supported 3–4 students per week, adapting my teaching to each learner’s needs and goals. I specialise in essay writing, textual analysis, and exam preparation, while also providing support across the humanities. My teaching style is supportive, adaptable, and results-driven, helping students build confidence and consistently achieve top marks. Each lesson runs for one hour (with the option of extra time if requested in advance). I always prepare a structured lesson plan but also encourage students to bring classwork, homework, and assignments for tailored feedback to accelerate their progress.
