About Ethan
I am an undergraduate at Lafayette College majoring in biology. I scored very well on my AP biology test and AP calculus test in high school and get great grades in my STEM courses in college. I am the oldest kid in a big family, so I work with kids very often. If I could give any student advice, I would tell them that a willingness to learn will take you farther than you can even imagine. Whether you take my course or not, the fact that you are looking for a tutor is a tremendous step in the right direction, good job!

I like to focus not only on learning the subject at hand but teaching techniques on how to learn efficiently for any subject. The time of the lesson will depend on the subject, but the lesson plan is typically the same. I start with basic conversation to get to know my student. Next, I teach the lesson with lots of built in student interaction, after which, the student will do work on their own with my guidance. Finally, we play a game that integrates the subject at hand.
