About Rajiv
I am quite sporty and I play table tennis competitively and I enjoy playing basketball in the park. I am a massive NBA fan and my favourite team is the Golden State Warriors (no i am not a bandwagon). During my own GCSE, I struggled to try to understand what the teacher was explaining in classes. I get great satisfaction when a student is able to apply what I have taught them. I try to make the class enjoyable and I try to give each of my students a greater appreciation of what is being taught as well as its applications in the real world.

As a student, who struggled myself, I fully understand how frustrating it is not to understand what a teacher is saying in class. My techniques incorporate breaking down a subject so the student can fully understand what is going on and most importantly apply it to exams. My methods normally include a lot of past paper practice and I will be supplying the students with a small homework piece every lesson. The typical length of a class will be one hour. I have experience tutoring a class of year 10 students, who were struggling with Maths. My lessons are for GCSE Maths, A level Maths as well as A level Physics.
