About Sofia
Hi! I’m Sofia, a trilingual tutor originally from Colombia, currently studying Art at a university in Tokyo. I speak Spanish, English, and Japanese, and I’ve been living in Japan for several years, so I understand firsthand what it’s like to learn a language in real, everyday situations. I’ve worked as a Spanish and English teacher and tour guide, and I currently teach students of all ages, so I know how to adapt to different learning styles. My lessons are not about overwhelming grammar rules or boring textbooks. I focus on practical conversation, cultural context, and personalized learning that’s fun, relaxed, and truly effective. Whether you’re learning Spanish for travel, connection, or just for fun, I’m here to guide you with patience, professionalism, and encouragement. You don’t need to be perfect; you just need to start.
