About Alice
I have been tutoring students from ages 8-16 for over 3 years and have created enduring relationships with my students. I have always been acclaimed in my English courses and graduated high school with a perfect score in this subject. English has been my passion for a long time, which is why I have been pursuing it in college, where I have been selected for the Dean's List for two consecutive semesters. My passion and skill for the English subject have been recognized by professional establishments and also individual people, such as my students and their parents who have expressed their gratitude for my tutoring.

My teaching approach is very individual-based. I aim to find out what my student likes, how their mind works, and what gets them excited about learning. Based on that, I'll construct lesson plans that might be more visual (with power points) or perhaps more interactive with activities I'll create.
I also strongly believe in letting the student find the answer rather than spoon-feeding. Think of me as your co-captain rather than your director -I'll guide and assist you, but ultimately, you'll get to the answer on your own!
My lessons range from Kindergarten to High School levels.
I ask for the goal in mind for tutoring and then build my lesson plans accordingly so that we can work together to reach that finish line whether it be bettering reading skills at an early level or bettering analytical thinking at a further level.
My main philosophy for teaching is that I teach from the heart, so my lessons are made to also engage the passion of the student.
