About Thomas
I am a recent graduate of St Hugh's College, Oxford where I achieved a first in my dissertation and a 2.1 overall grade. I have had experience tutoring online with my previous student achieving GCSE level 9 in biology and chemistry which received a five-star review. Having completed my masters in Biochemistry I feel confident teaching GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry and Maths as well as degree-level biochemistry.

I will focus on students’ understanding of themes and principles in both biology and chemistry and the importance of repetition and clarity of working in maths as this gives a student the tools to apply this knowledge across the subject. Certain areas such as organic chemistry or biophysical chemistry may require a more structured approach.
I aim to approach exam-style questions each tutorial as this gives a quick and easy way to judge progress and highlight areas needing improvement as well as prepare the student for future assessments.
