About Calum
I have a passion for maths and physics, and aim to put this across when I teach! I have studied these subjects for numerous years now, and I am now pursuing it in the form of my degree. I plan and prepare all lessons in advance, and ensure coherent lesson structure, in order to allow new content to be taught as smoothly as possible.

All lessons are an hour long, and meant for GCSE level. I tailor each lesson to suit the tutee's needs and requirements. I will teach content from basics upwards, and also use materials like past exam questions and papers, and doing worked examples, dependent on the tutee.

Calum has been tutoring my son, who was in year 9, for the past 6 months. My son needs support with a wide range of maths concepts and Calum has been working through these with him. I have been really impressed with how he has assessed the level that my son is at and pitched work correctly for his needs, as well as posing him the appropriate level of challenge too. During the period leading up to exams, Calum supported my son with revision and now has his marked end of year papers to base future sessions on. We will continue to use Calum over the next 18 months to support our son in passing his GCSE.
