About Jeslyn

Hello, I’m Jeslyn, a Computer Science undergraduate at UKM with a strong interest in education and helping students achieve their academic goals. I believe that every student can succeed when given the right support, encouragement and learning approach.

Alongside my academic journey, I have developed communication, leadership and mentoring skills through various leadership roles, including serving as Assistant Commander of BSMM Det. 88D and Deputy President of the Social Entrepreneurship Club at UKM. These experiences have strengthened my ability to guide students patiently and create a positive learning environment.

I also have a strong academic background in languages and achieved A grades in both Tamil Language and Tamil Literature in SPM. I enjoy working with young learners and helping them build confidence, improve understanding and develop good study habits.

My goal as a tutor is to make learning engaging, comfortable and meaningful while supporting each student according to their individual needs and pace.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed mainly for primary school students who want to improve their English skills in a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking and vocabulary while helping students gain confidence in using English.

My teaching approach is patient, interactive and personalized according to each student’s learning pace and goals. I use simple explanations, guided practice, exercises, discussions and revision activities to make lessons engaging and easy to understand.

A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes depending on the student’s age and needs. I also provide homework guidance and study support when needed.

As a Computer Science undergraduate at UKM with leadership and mentoring experience, I have developed strong communication, organization and guidance skills. My experience as Assistant Commander of BSMM Det. 88D and Deputy President of the Social Entrepreneurship Club has strengthened my ability to work with and support students effectively.

My lessons are suitable for primary school students of all levels who want extra support, revision or additional practice in English.
