About Akshay
Hello! I am Akshay Shaji, a UGC NET Qualified Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with a strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping students build confidence in academics and technology. Over the years, I have worked with students from different educational backgrounds and learning levels, ranging from school students to engineering graduates.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and highly interactive. I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on understanding their strengths and difficulties before planning classes. Instead of encouraging memorization, I help students understand concepts deeply through simple explanations, practical examples, visual learning methods, and problem-solving sessions.
I provide guidance for CBSE, ICSE, and State syllabus students in subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. For diploma and B.Tech students, I teach core subjects related to ECE, EEE, and CSE including Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Communication Systems, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems, Verilog HDL, FPGA, VLSI Basics, Robotics, Python, C, C++, Computer Organization & Architecture, and more.
What makes my classes different is the combination of concept-oriented teaching and practical application. I regularly use PPT notes, coding demonstrations, simulations, handwritten explanations, and exam-oriented problem-solving techniques to make learning easier and more engaging. Students are always encouraged to ask questions freely and learn without fear or hesitation.
Along with academics, I also support students in assignments, mini-projects, technical presentations, interview preparation, and improving analytical thinking skills. My aim is not just to improve marks, but to help students develop a strong foundation and genuine interest in learning.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. I believe students perform better when they clearly understand the “why” behind every concept. I use a practical, interactive, and student-friendly teaching style tailored to the learner’s level and pace.
For school students (CBSE/ICSE/State syllabus), I simplify complex topics in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science using real-life examples, visual explanations, diagrams, shortcuts, and problem-solving techniques. Regular practice tests, revision sessions, and exam-oriented preparation are included to improve confidence and academic performance.
For diploma and engineering students, especially in ECE, EEE, and CSE domains, my classes focus on both theory and practical understanding. Subjects include Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Signals & Systems, Communication Systems, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems, Verilog HDL, FPGA, VLSI Basics, Control Systems, Robotics, Computer Organization & Architecture, C/C++ Programming, Python, and related technical subjects. I also guide students in mini-projects, assignments, interview preparation, and research-oriented learning.
A typical class usually starts with a quick revision of previous concepts, followed by clear explanation of new topics using examples, PPT notes, handwritten derivations, simulations, or coding demonstrations wherever required. Students are encouraged to ask doubts freely during the session. After concept explanation, we solve practice problems together and discuss shortcuts, common mistakes, and exam strategies.
