About Tamzin
I have four years of training at the University of Cape Town, with a degree in Theater and Performance, specializing in bilingual acting. I am extremely passionate about my craft, and I believe that God placed this dream in my heart at a young age. Following my dream and pursuing acting as a career has been a difficult yet rewarding journey. I am currently one of five actors who were selected to be part of the Baxter Theater's new resident company, the first of its kind in South Africa. I have always been a learner in the theater and I am so excited about this amazing opportunity. I pride myself in my belief and faith, my no-nonsense work ethic, and my ability to laugh and have fun while working. I believe in a balanced lifestyle and I try to incorporate that in my coaching style. I mentor artists at the Baxter, from all ages who have an exciting passion for the arts. I enjoy working with individuals who are passionate, who are hungry to learn, and are teachable.

I have a relaxed teaching style and our sessions will be structured around your specific needs. Every student is different, and I like to work in an organic manner which will be beneficial for us both. Having trained for 4 years, and currently working as an actor, I have a wealth of knowledge to impart.
I am a bilingual actor, so I am able to coach in both English and Afrikaans.
These lessons are aimed at those who'd love to start laying the foundation for a career in acting or would just like to gain some basic acting tips for future auditions, etc.
I have attended many castings where models express their grievances about not having any acting training, these lessons are perfect for you too.
I look forward to meeting you all, virtually or in person.
