About Kai
I am a second year student at UCT doing my BA in English and Politics looking for a part-time job as a tutor. I achieved 5 A’s in matric, including a 92% average for English Home Language. I have tutoring experience, as I was part of a tutoring program at my high school where I helped other students with subjects they struggled with.

I’m a hard-working and logical student, and I apply these qualities to my tutoring. When tutoring English, I think it is important to understand core concepts and create a framework of knowledge before introducing the student to more complex ideas. I prefer to ask my students what they need help with and then working from there, while keeping their personality type and learning ability in mind. I like to tailor my lessons to my students’ needs.
