About Wendy
I love math and I love teaching math. Math is such an important tool, not only in school but in life. I also understand that math can be difficult so I want to help. I have 5 years of experience teaching in the classroom and have taught all levels of math! I make sure to personalize my lessons and meet student where they are. My best qualities as a teacher would be that I am approachable to ask questions and I provide a lot of support in my lessons.

I am currently a high school math teacher and have taught and tutored all levels in math. I have my bachelors in applied math with an emphasis on complex numbers and a masters in math education. I love teaching and I love math!
I try to make math relevant, engaging and easy. I think learning math includes learning the vocabulary and language, learning the reasoning and steps, and lastly a lot of practice with support. Remember that math is about trying, failing, and trying again. I hope I can help you reach your math goal!
