About Kendrick
Hi, my name is Kendrick. I am a future UCLA undergraduate student with 3 years of tutoring experience and a strong academic background in English, reading, and essay writing. I have experience helping students understand difficult concepts, improve their writing structure, strengthen reading comprehension, and prepare for school assignments or literacy tests. As a recent high school student, I understand what modern students are going through, including test pressure, essay deadlines, and the challenge of expressing ideas clearly. I am patient, encouraging, and detail-oriented, and I always try to explain things in a way that is easy to understand. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their skills, and feel more prepared in English.

I teach English reading, literacy test preparation, and essay writing in a clear, patient, and supportive way. Each lesson begins by identifying the student’s needs, such as reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, paragraph structure, thesis writing, or essay organization. Then, I explain the topic step by step, go through examples, and guide the student through practice questions or writing exercises. I can help with homework, school essays, literacy tests, reading assignments, grammar review, and building stronger writing skills. As a UCLA undergraduate, I understand the importance of strong communication and academic writing. My lessons are designed to help students feel more confident, prepared, and capable in English.
