About Nianxi
Hello, my name is Nianxi Chen. You can also call me Nancy! I'm an undergraduate mathematics student in UCL. I just completed my A-level exams in June, achieving an A* in both Maths and Further Maths.
Mathematics has always fascinated me with its ability to explain the world through patterns and logic. I love how math offers clarity and precision, transforming complex problems into elegant solutions. Solving challenging problems gives me a deep sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. For me, math is more than just numbers; it’s a way of thinking, a language of reasoning, and an endless source of wonder that inspires me to keep learning and exploring. I hope to share my love for mathematics with my students, so they don’t see it merely as a challenging subject but as something they can genuinely enjoy.
In addition, I’m also a very easygoing person, and I hope to become your friend as well. You can not only ask me maths questions but also share any worries from your life or studies. I’ll be here to listen.

I recently completed my A-level exams in June, achieving an A* in both Maths and Further Maths. With this background, I can offer valuable advice on preparing for A-level and GCSE exams.
In my teaching, I focus on developing students' logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, which are essential for excelling in maths. I take pride in creating personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's unique needs, combining my own experience with their specific situation to ensure effective learning.
I have extensive tutoring experience: over the summer, I tutored five international A-level students, two of whom scored over 90% in maths on their September exams. My lessons are typically 1-2 hours long, allowing for deep understanding without overwhelming the student.
